Scholarships
There are a limited number of scholarships for specific programs.
Gary Bertisch Scholarship
This scholarship is available to students who have enrolled (paid the certificate candidacy fee) in the Certificate in Construction Management or the Certificate in Real Estate and who have completed a minimum of two courses in the program with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Coding Boot Camp Scholarship
The UCLA Extension Coding Boot Camp Scholarship was established to support adults with demonstrated financial need who are interested in a career in web development and the opportunity to access training to prepare them for a career as end-to-end web developer. The Full Stack Flex course gives participants the skills they need to build dynamic web applications and become a full stack web developer. Click here for the application and more information.
Dylan de Guzman Scholarship for Architecture & Interior Design Students
The Dylan de Guzman Scholarship Fund, established in 2016, supports students enrolled in the Architecture & Interior Design Certificate. This scholarship was created to provide qualified individuals whose emphasis is interior design with the opportunity to complete their certificate. Click here for the application.
Howard Hirsch Design Scholarship / James R. Northcutt Scholarship

Laurel Hummel Scholarships for International Students
These scholarships are available to F-1 students who have completed at least12 units in an approved certificate program with a GPA of 3.0 orbetter. For more information click here and to download application form click here.
Ingrid Skulstad Williams Scholarship for Women
This scholarship is available for women with financial need who wish to enroll in a certificate program to further their education. For more information click here.
Joseph G. Devanney Scholarship
These scholarships are available to students enrolled in the Personal Financial Planning Certificate. For more information click here.
Phyllis Gebauer Scholarship in Writing
Up to six scholarships are awarded annually to promising writers from diverse backgrounds and cultures who might otherwise not have the opportunity to study their craft in a supportive educational environment. For more information click here.
Veterans Count Scholarship Fund
Scholarship for active duty U.S. military personnel and U.S. veterans, and their immediate families, who are interested in pursuing financial aid programs to assist them in achieving their educational career goals. Click here for more information and to download the application form.
Zappala Family Scholarship
